The relationship between marijuana use and immunity is one with limited data and insufficient evidence. There is limited data and evidence supporting or refuting the use of marijuana regarding overall immune competence, anti-inflammatory effects, and the statistical association with immune status in those with HIV. There is a large need for more information and data regarding the immune system and the use of marijuana.
