While individuals may use cannabis for strictly medical use, without the intent of intoxication, cannabis has the capability to render highs and intoxication. Intoxication as a result of any chemical, such as alcohol or chemically-based substances from marijuana, will result in clinical features. These features will vary on an individual basis. Clinical presentations may include, but not be limited to euphoria, and paranoia, alongside others. This section will address the multiple clinical features of cannabis intoxication with a focus on peer-reviewed research and the results of clinical trials.
